    This is one game no matter what price people should throughly research before buying. I loved this game but it's definitely an acquired taste and it is not the easiest to get to grips with and play. And the story is very hard to follow so before you make the jump really look into non spoiler videos and then make a calculated decision on if you want to buy this. (edited)

    After a couple of hours, I appreciated how the game looked but still had no clue what the game was about or why I should be playing it. Uninstalled and moved on. 2hrs I won't get back.

    Tripe of the highest order, a bland walking simulator, but the title is correct...........DEATH STRANDING, DIRECTOR'S CUT, is what should have happened to the guy who got away with making this. lol

    Looks nice but not my cup of tea. Gave up after a few hours. If you like action, look elsewhere.

    This fails at having the medium's USP (gameplay) as it's main selling point = bad game

    I thought we all have this for free already ? Anyways, as mentioned above, looks pretty, runs well (well walks) but really is an acquired taste. I got so far then gave up, I think to the 'new' area but even that didnt tempt me to keep moving forward.

    2 hours in and I had only used the controller for 10 minutes and that was just for walking from cut scene to cut scene.

    Warning about the 'AVX Instruction set required'
    Probably doesn't impact a lot of modern PC builds, but definitely did for me with an old prebuilt PC that I upgraded the SSD, CPU, GPU and case. I bought this on sale and found it didn't launch because of the AVX requirement above. I've heard some emulation workarounds may force it to run, but at a considerable impact to performance so haven't attempted this. (edited)

    Excellent game. Not everyones cup of tea and takes an hour or two to get going but worth it IMO. Exploring the world and getting an understanding of the story is what kept me interested.
