DEWALT DCN692N Cordless XR 2 Speed Framing Nailer 90mm 18V Bare Unit - DCN692N-XJ

DEWALT DCN692N Cordless XR 2 Speed Framing Nailer

Bare unit, NO battery or charger supplied.

The DEWALT DCN692 Cordless XR First Fix Nailer has two speeds (or power levels) to optimise the nailer for firing all lengths of nails. Its BRUSHLESS motor technology offers the power to fire 90mm ring shank nails into soft wood and 63mm into hard woods.

The nailer has two modes. The sequential operating mode allows for precision placement and the bump operating mode provides the user with production speed. Its mechanical rather than gas operation offers consistant performance and minimises cleaning/service requirements. Tool free stall/jam clearance minimises user down time.

The DCN692 has a versatile 30-34° magazine angle that will accept most clipped head and off centre round head paper tape or wire weld collated framing nails. Depths can be easily adjusted using the thumb wheel depth adjuster.

The nailer has excellent vibration and sound figures, which offer fantastic user protection. The tool has an ergonomic design to allow the nailer to fit easily between a 400mm centre stud. A reversable belt/rafter hook povides increased portability and versatility on the job site. Increased visibility and durability along with protection for work-surface from the non-mar contact trip with lock-off to prevent accidental discharge of the fastener.

Have had one of these for a while - I used it with an adaptor (so I can use my Makita batteries) - its ok. Simpler than a Paslode that needs gas etc....however have gone through 2 firing pins (at about £50 a go) so far and not shot that many nails.

Gets some stick from the pros (mainly from the older type1/2) but a great machine for DIY, hasn't missed a beat firing about 2000+ nails, my favourite tool and well worth the money.
