    What exactly is this game?

    It's a top-down/isometric RPG that focuses very heavily on dialogue. There's no combat as such, but the game doesn't suffer from it.

    You play as a messed-up, alcoholic cop trying to solve a murder in a run-down, dystopian city. It has maybe the best writing of any game, ever, and the game as a whole is unlike anything else I've played.

    I highly recommend it, if you don't mind that heavy focus on dialogue rather than action.

    Yeah, I've heard the same...

    Apparently the game is 23+ hours long (according to HLTB). That in itself makes it somewhat unappealing in my perspective.

    I prefer my games to be a lot shorter - ie 8-15 hours long.

    Just finished my second play through and immediately started up another save. Really special RPG that I'll probably come back to every few years.

    Agreed. It's an absolute masterpiece. The best writing and world building I've ever encountered in a game.

    I'm surprised no-one's mentioned the soundtrack to this game. One of the very few I've listened to whilst NOT playing the game.
