Add discount code NJHGFDEH to give you a further 5% (60p) off (not a massive amount I know but better than a kick in the teeth). (edited)

    Where's the deal here ?

I've been soldering 50 years, I am struggling to see a use for this !
Too big for precise work, too cold for plate bashing

Had this for a while now, used it plenty of times with no issue. Good temp control and fast heatup.

Better to get one with adjustable heat.

Yep I have a soldier station. Way better, temperature controlled and heats up much quicker.

Waiting for the Lidl Silvercrest battery powered soldering iron to come back into stock. Although it initially runs at 500 degrees (far too hot) it is easy to hack it down to a more useful 350-400 degrees with a few button pushes. I also have a little USB powered iron for more delicate circuit board work.

Crikey, I bought one of these exactly the same nearly 20 years ago. Still got it. (edited)
