I will say it again. Fake company, fake address, fake product, fake reviews. Even the magazine reviews are non-existent. You've been warned.

Any chance of elaborating on that please?

They have over 35000 reviews on amazon and what appears to be a majority positive rating. Are you saying that this rating and all the reviews are generated by bots rather than real people?

So the company Eclat were registered in June 2022 at companies house as Eclat Impression Group Ltd and they operate out of a shared office space in Covent Garden where you can rent a desk on a month by month basis for £300 per person per month.

They don't appear to have any physical shop or store anywhere in the UK or Europe and sell solely through amazon or their own website.

Their packaging contains all the registered company address details and detailed ingredients lists etc....

I am unable to find any of the 'amazing' reviews in any of the magazines that they are displaying in their product adverts on amazon.

I guess it keeps costs down by having a distribution facility and no stores.....but they aren't registered as a cosmetic sales company. Here is what they are registered as direct from the companies house website.

Whereas when you put in someone well known across the UK like Space NK it lists their business as

47750 - Retail sale of cosmetic and toilet articles in specialised stores

Their prices are really cheap....but the information I've managed to find so far doesn't suggest that they are a cosmetic company. (edited)

Does anyone have any info about whether they are a fake company selling fake products or not? I've gone down an Internet search wormhole since I saw some comments on this deal and others from the same brand stating that it's all fake....but then nothing else to back that statement up.

I've found what appears to be their website here but it has no UK contact details or address. They are also on Facebook, instagram and tiktok

The amazon reviews suggest that the majority of their customers are happy?

A companies house search for Eclat skincare suggests that the company was dissolved in 2017

There is no information on the amazon website about the company details and I am struggling to find info on how amazon verify authenticity or legality of cosmetic products sold which must surely have to comply with the relevant laws in the country they are sold. The UK cosmetic regulation guidelines for cosmetics is in the link below

    gov.uk/gov…ain

I'm trying to find out if a company with that many positive reviews selling through a company like Amazon is selling a fake product as some comments have alluded.....and if so why haven't they been reported to trading standards or the office for product safety standards?

I had a good look. There's a very premium brand called Eclat London not to be confused with this cheaper by a mile brand. I've bought a few bits to try them out. If they are useless, then I haven't lost a great deal of money.
