I've just received mine and soles are not "shiny", they are rubber, not plastic, and feel like thy will grip well.

Thx for the deal Unsure if the free delivery code is still working as I can't remember the exact expiry date approx 29th -30 th January . Worth looking on Cotton Trader site for the cheapest item to get the order total to £30 when you should then be able to get free delivery , code A728.

I bought a pair of their boots admittedly it was 15 years ago so may have changed. But I wore through the soles in 12 weeks. Was refunded as the boots were not fit for purpose- but that put me off purchasing ever again (edited)

they look nice but I cannot see them lasting more than a few months with for daily use

I thought about buying a couple to get free delivery but decided on these instead which have nubuck uppers, "phylon" soles & claim to have some waterproofing
