Tempted by this. I have one of their multi tools with an 18v 2.5Ah battery, whilst I appreciate this isn't 4Ah, anyone know if I could use it as the second spare type thing?

    Quoted from their web site

"Universal usability for all Power X-Change rechargeable devices"

"The right battery: Our compatibility promise
Every Power X-Change battery is compatible with all devices in the battery system. The whole range is included, from angle grinders all the way through to vacuums, for your home, workshop, garden or garage. And this also applies to devices yet to be released."

Here's the page if you want to see more info
    einhell.co.uk/p/4…ge/

....I've also just Googled and have found info on other compatible, batteries makita, milwaukee, titan.....possible need a converter for some. (edited)

Very good mower this. Lightweight and good results. Only downside is a lack of a roller.

One issue was the wheel came off but a couple of cable ties cured it.

Honestly i've yet to see an Einhell product that is dissapointing (for the price).

EDIT: The one I am reffering to is the 36v version. Can't really speak for this particular model. (edited)

I've had this model for 3 years. No problems at all. I've got about 5 Einhell tools and all are excellent. And you're right it does need a roller.

Seems like cheap plastic and weak motor. Might as well spend a bit more for a Makita

Love people opinions (it seems like cheap plastic)....

My lawn is about 80 meters square and the above lawnmower does the job very well as I said....

I don't disagree there are other brands that are better, but also doubt the price if not triple.. (edited)

Seems like a nice deal for anyone already invested in the Einhell PxC power tool range... the battery and charger alone is about £35 & all swappable across the range. If I didn't already have a battery mower I'd definitely be tempted.

Highly recommend this, I've had one for 4ys and it's brilliant not having cables. It's also very light to carry

How long doe the one battery last?

Great product, had mine for nearly 4 years, and I use it once a week in the summer.

You need a 2nd battery if you need your lawn short.

I managed to get a 2nd battery when it was on offer for around £20.

Yes I have double....luckily amazon sent EU plug chargers and then sent me a new pack of charger with the batteries

Got one a couple years back for my young lad to help out in the garden (he loves to get involved but the petrol mower was too big at the time) unfortunately after literally a few uses it gave up the ghost, I suspect the motor burnt out. which is fine these things happen, what's not fine though is that despite a 5 year warranty claim on the box I still can't get them to sort it out more than 12 months on. FWIW I bought through their ebay store. So I would recommend using a brick and mortar store if buying this, so you can just take it back if anything goes wrong.
I will say that for the few times we managed to use it, it was light and easy enough for a 5yo to use on shortish grass.
