    Better to take it off the stand. Leave on floor so worms can crawl into it and then roll it around once a month

    Or simply seed it with some existing compost/soil which contains all the little bugs and bacteria etc.

    Good price. But very small. OK for kitchen waste, but not lawn or hedge clippings.

    Helpful advice! What would you recommend for lawn clippings? Got a couple of huge lawns to cut when it finally gets dry enough and it always pains me to thrown all the grass away when it could be put to good use.

    I think that you need at least 2 of these so that you can be adding fresh material to one while the other(s) compost for "one to three months"
