    I have observed that over the last ten or so years the quality of drill bits/sds bits from once well regarded brands has reduced dramatically:

    Makita
    bosch
    stanley
    etc.

    Am I the only one thats noticed this, or am I just getting old?

    Op - good deal if the bits are decent quality. Will go in and grab a few if the community can convince me these are one of the better quality sets. (I can carry one or two sets from job to job, so they have to be reliable and long lasting).

    I don't have experience of einhell but know it's a good brand. I have for years used one set for all materials - drill all bought from IW TV and they do a prefect job each time

    Bit inflated at original £12 as they are about £7 everywhere else. Still a good deal at £3.

    I bought a pack a few months back and I would say don't waste your 3 pounds. Struggled to cut through standard brick and made a 2 mins job last twice as long. Spend your money on a better product. I've used Dewalt bits and they cut through brick fine. Bosch is even better yet.
