Looking for a decent battery lawnmower - came across this - bit cheaper than the Makita ones - looks good for smaller lawns.

  • Experience cordless freedom with the Einhell GE-CM 3637 Li cordless lawn mower. The 36V Power X-Change battery technology makes taking care of the garden a real pleasure. This kit includes 2 x 3.0Ah lithium-ion batteries and 2 x fast chargers
  • The lawn mower is powered by an electric motor for longer operating times between charging. With a cutting width of 37cm it effortlessly tackles medium to large lawns up to 400 square meters in size
  • The cordless walk-behind lawn-mower has a 6-level central cutting height adjustment facility (25mm to 75mm), a height-adjustable long handle with 3 settings for comfortable operation and a generously dimensioned 45L grass box with fill level indicator
  • The high-quality impact-resistant plastic housing has no problem with dense growth and overgrown areas. The lawn-friendly large wheels minimise impact to the lawn, compensate for areas of uneven ground and help the mower achieve precise results close to the lawn edge.
  • The folding long handle enables space-saving storage in most garden sheds or garages. Transporting the mower is made easier thanks to the integrated carry handle

I’ve been looking at this one for a while Einhell Power X-Change 18/30 Cordless Lawnmower With Battery and Charger - 18V, Brushless Motor, 30cm Cutting Width, 25L Grass Box, 3 Cutting Heights - GE-CM 18/30 Li Battery Lawn Mower amzn.eu/d/8…ON2
apart from the 2x battery and blade size is there any other difference?

Massively different cutting widths between those two. The posted model is 37cm whereas the one you're looking at is 30cm. Unless you have a widdly lawn I'd forget 18V models.

I have the Ozito version of the 33cm 36V model (PXCLMK) which takes two batteries and cuts a decent amount of grass without being too big to move around. Takes the same batteries as the Einhell (- Einhell and Ozito are interchangeable).

I picked mine up for £80 (no batteries or chargers) from Tooled Up last spring which I thought was a bargain as I already had batteries, etc.

Looks like you are already into Einhell from later in the thread - unless you want more batteries and chargers I'd suggest you shop around for a 36V model without the kit. If your batteries are less than 3Ah you probably need bigger batteries anyway - I use a pair of 4Ah on mine and they need to be the same size if you were wondering.

Got one of those turning up today. I wasn't confident enough on my pricing so didn't post it as a deal but it certainly seems good value as most places are charging £200 without batteries and charger.

Already ordered an Einhell polisher to make use of the batteries... And have my eye on the strimmer... And leaf vac. Addictive hobby this cordless tool game once you get started

Just to confirm the previous question, this uses the same Einhell X-Change batteries as the other mower but it uses two in series for double the voltage resulting in a more powerful machine.

So when the batteries die and you need to replace half way through mowing , would I need to change both batteries or can I just use 1? As I have a 4mah Einhell battery already. Hopefully my question makes sense
