Last time it was around £8, I thought the same. Went into my local Asda on a whim a few days later and they had 4 copies 🤷‍♂️. So I wouldn't completely rule it out (although I used to think the same).

I purchased a long time back and they went out of stock for a while.
They don't have any OOS labels on them now so worth checking with the checkout staff.
