When did branded skateboards get so cheap? I remember around 2004 having to spend over £100 for a pre built skateboard that wasn't even the brand I wanted.

it's mad isn't it, they will obviously be cheaping out on the bearings and grip tape but at this price you can't complain. Plus I am getting old now and don't skate the same as I used to so these are perfect for me. Getting a full setup for less than the price of a deck when I was younger is just an amazing feeling lol. This could be just the mid-life crisis I'm looking for.

Jokes! Never too old to skate. Tempted for a blast over summer, I gave my boards away last time I went travelling. Decks are american maple which is hard-wearing, has great pop though heavier than birch etc. Trucks are Element own brand which are fairly generic but absolutely serviceable. If you're really into 50-50s or whatever you might want to upgrade to independent/destructo/tensor or whatever.
Bearings are generic abec 5 which will be fine for beginners but maybe throw some bones reds in there if you're a speed demon.
If you like any of the designs, £25 is a good price for the deck alone.

So good! I used to pay more than this just for a deck back in the day lol, same for trucks.

Can these boards hold the weight of a 17stone 36yr old lump? Asking for a friend

They could be alright. Depending on shoe size you may want to try to find something wider though.

Trustpilot for this store is all over the place, feeling a little worried seeing as some of the boards are almost 2-3x on other stores, and the offer of a 4 quid helmet isnt putting my fears aside.

Anyone got some experience ordering from them?

Loads, they’re great. Never had an issue and ordered about 10+ times from them.

52473530-UBFts.jpgI got the Bob Ross one on the wall. A friend traded with me a few days ago.

Star wars wheels though, that would be getting scratched off or replaced.

I'm 43 and still going, just a bit more leisurely these days.

    Tempting.

I can't skate at all and I'm too old to try not. But I like the idea of having one and hanging it on the wall for show

I just got my boards in, very happy for the price and was delivered fast.

Got an Enuff one for the kids last year, and now my eldest is quite keen so I’m tempted to join in…

Does anyone have any advice on these over the Enuff boards? I notice those have ABEC 7 bearings, compared to the 5s on the element boards. From what I remember, even lower ABEC ratings can be better (I.e. less friction) if they’re better quality, so was just wondering which would be the way to go?

Fantastic timing! Am getting one for all the family! Son is the most experienced, wondering if it’s worth buying some 86a wheels as one of the parents said they are for the intermediate learner, but am not sure about what each size difference makes to the ride and stunts.
