    Why no heat?

Many folk now know this is a basic electric bike with an unusual frame disguised as a performance machine

Having ridden a specialist turbo step through I would save up and invest in something with better battery and central hub motor but they cost double

Heat because this will annoy the MAMIL community no end.

You can wear lycra on an e-bike too

That just looks like a very low quality dual suspension mountain bike with ebike components added to it. There was a huge recall on a similar btwin bike which was having collapsing frames and they had to recall about 4 years production of various similar models some with rear suspension and some without. Like the bike below. Unfortunately I can't post a link as its behind a paywall at Bike Europe but google shows an image of one of the bike's that were part of the huge recall. It just looks complete rubbish to me with short life high maintenance suspension components and probably quite weak as many btwin bikes are. I guess if you are very light and have back issues so need a very soft bouncy ride it could be the ebike for you.

I must admit the spares availability on things like this isn't great but you could always go back to the store and they might help out, doubt it. The Costco doors bike was better I think I can't remember the prices though .

Looks like a decent option for the occasional rider this summer. Heat added for making them more affordable and within reach.

That frame is going to ride like a rusty bed. It would been much better rigid, and the money spent on better front forks.

looks like a reasonable spec at a very low price.
E bikes go up to several thousands of pounds but not everyone needs state ofthe art features,I’m sure this could be a good buy at a great price for some.
Haven’t checked it out, but its often the case that a generic replacementbattery may be available much below the eye watering prices of in framebatteries (edited)

There is nothing special about this bike. It is neither good or bad. It is just mediocre.

I would say its bad just like any other cheap dual suspension bike and that is all this is really with electric parts added and sold as a comfort bike. The suspension especially rear looks short life using low end components and could well compromise the lifespan of the bike. I mean cheap dual suspension bikes are bought just for the look of them and even if just ridden on the road they can fail pretty quickly. The rear shock looks no better than some Argos cheap dual suspension bike. Also in the spec description it states SRAM rear derailleur but in the images its just one of those cheap rebranded Microshift or Micronew plastic derailleurs rebranded as Btwin. There are no spares available for this bike as far as I can tell, no replacement parts for that rear suspension. I'm surprised how much heat this ebike has generated. Many cheap ebikes have easily replaceable parts with regards the electric parts and this may be the same but the low quality suspension frame really compromises it.

I remember reading a recent forum posting where someone had water ingress issues with the display on one of these. There doesn't seem to be any water proofing in the design of the buttons etc so water can get straight in. It just seems like a very low quality ebike to me which is horribly compromised in so many areas.
