sorted by5 years on and I'm fatter and more bitter than ever before. No social life but plenty on money in the bank.
The AI, either intentionally or otherwise, has some of the virtual drivers changing lanes and pulling out, etc, without warning. Having fairly spectacular crashes in front of you. The latter is not often, it's true but it adds a certain interest.
Some of the many mods can be quite fun. A 1000 BHP engine. Completing a trip without getting damaged with that much power can be quite a challenge. Finding out which bits of the off road terrain are actually drivable through, intentionally or otherwise. Getting into unprogrammed space - there are Black Holes to fall into but usually not with any possibility of escaping from.
For those law abiding and incredibly conscientious drivers, such as myself - a chance to release the inner me. Drive like a (insert car manufacturer name of choice) driver. The result is that I crash a lot. Which is there to remind me, every time I get the temptation to not drive as if I had a driving examiner sat beside me.
Never get bored of it & will run on a very modest spec machine - though adding mods is much more fun & requires a bit better hardware.
