This is not and has never been a £40 bag. Eurohike is an in-house brand so they can quote any figure they like as the RRP.

Looks like a reasonable buy at £8.50 but please don't fall for the idea that you are saving £31.50. (edited)

Yes. I used exactly this bag for a wedding in France last year. It took 2 days if clothes including a full tux and shoes! V impressed!

There is no cussion at the bottom of the bag so your laptop would not get any protection if you accidentally drop the bag. It happened once and had a dent to my Mac.

Suggest adding a foam strip to the bottom of the bag. (edited)

RRP bit of a joke. £10 on Amazon, £11 in multiple other places. Decent price reduction of around 10-20% here, but nothing like suggested

The only downside for me is the way it lets in water. I've had plenty of backpacks that aren't waterproof that will keep the stuff inside dry unless it's torrential rain. This one seems to let the water in like a sieve with any type of rain. Apart from that it's a great backpack but I personally wouldn't buy it again for everyday use in the UK.

Waterproof your kit with plastic press seal bags. Basic military training taught me this.

Not even worth £8.50 had one lasted about 2 weeks then stitching came apart at the seams.
Threw away the receipt like you do so they wouldn’t refund.Will never buy that brand again.

Used one of these every day for work & very durable. Apart from that also use another on short walks/picnics as doesn't have waist belt but great otherwise & very spacious with lots of handy pockets.

Got a couple from Black's several years ago. Paid about £8 for each. OK quality for this price or up to £15, but the RRP is a joke. Quite thin, but does the job for us. Voted hot!
