As long as your device has an internet connection, can detect motion, and has a camera, you’re good to go.
Do I need an internet connection to play Everybody 1-2-Switch!?
No internet connection is necessary to play Joy-Con Mode. However, in order for your Nintendo Switch console and smart devices to communicate with each other in Smart Device Mode, you will need an active internet connection to play.

No, a Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required to play Smart Device Mode.

sorted byThe fact we haven't seen even any video footage for this kinda gives some support to there being a direct very soon. Otherwise they would have just released the trailer when they stealth announced this 2 weeks ago.
However, I question the logic of 1-2 Switch getting a sequel over games like ARMS, Ring Fit Adventure and heck even Tomodachi Life is over there screaming for a remaster or sequel!
Does the code work on other games or just for this one?
