    Great value drive.
Posted last time and purchased one just confirm the components were legit as this one 'review' about the capacity being fake always gets posted.

Nothing wrong with these drives, certainly as good as many of the other smaller but more well known brands out there. (edited)

ALL SSD drives have so-called SLC-cache. It simply means a certain number of initial writes use the multi-bit cell as a SINGLE-bit cell, and later move this data more slowly into the correct multi-bit per cell permanent storage.

So the term is a marketing CON, meant to mislead the punter into mistakenly thinking there is a DRAM cache.

This is a VERY basic SSD, fine for use as an external device at the cost per TB. As a boot device, AVOID.

How much of an SLC cache there is also matters but most manufacturers opt to omit those details.
Agree on not using this as a boot drive, it is perfectly suited to be a storage/game drive.

Will this work with Xbox as many of these Chinese type ones don't

I can't help with this question specifically it you might want to specify exactly which xbox you mean.

Got one a few weeks back to backup the ps5. Worked perfectly fine, perhaps even faster than I expected for a large backup.
