In Midgar, a city controlled by the mega-conglomerate Shinra Inc., the No. 1 Mako Reactor has been blown up by a rebel group, AVALANCHE.

    Highly recommend looking into and installing 7th heaven mods - especially if playing on steamdeck - improvements to everything - upscaled backgrounds, sleek menus, improved soundtrack, even voice acting if you want it. So many different improvements you can add.

    I second this. You can now install this natively on the Deck too, making it so much easier to use. Played the New Threat mod, which remixes parts of the game, which was refreshing
