    I would say that XV was worse, but agreed that XVI is very poor in terms of story and gameplay. Cut scene, button mash combat, cut scene, someone turns into a guardian, combat. Ugh.

    Weird game this. More like an action RPG with a final fantasy theme.. some epic bits, some tediously mind numbingly dull fetch quests.. but overall a solid game.

    Like pretty much every other RPG then? I've yet to play a single RPG that doesn't have mind numbingly dumb side quests. I don't see why this game should be penalised for it when everyone else is also doing them.

    Absolutely incredible game from start to finish, has some of the best spectacle I've had the pleasure of playing.

    Awesome combat, excellent story, epic bossfights on a scale like I've never seen, when the director of God Of War said they could not emulate Kratos's power in the gameplay, well Final Fantasy XVI has done just that in its Eikon battles.

    While the sidequests aren't too rewarding in their "rewards" all the quests are honestly engaging story wise, I loved investing myself in its world even with the less "flashy" quest rewards.

    The boss fight is epic, it is a Gurren Lagann but you can play in the form of video game.

    Amazon will price match shortly no doubt. But they don’t offer these sweet sweet rewards. I’ve got £36 with tgc in points but I think I will hold until this is sub £20 because I have enough games to last me until I die as it is

    Was disappointed to spend around 80 hours finishing this game. Wasn't worth pushing through with.

    Some really epic 10/10 moments with 10-15 hours of 4/10 rubbish PS3 era RPG between them. Game was at least 20 hours too long and dragged at the end. Did enjoy the hunts though, especially the harder ones..
