Sounds disgusting to me. Especially with drunken North Americans urinating and defecating in the pool, next to the bar. Yeuch. Nope, I'll be going to Porty.

It's built into their holiday price, either way you ultimately pay for it. Would not travel with Thomas Cook - they have a very lean airline for the size of their operation, and frequently divert return flights to major airports not too far from the intended airport e.g. a fair few Newcastle flights get diverted to Manchester so they can bus you back to Newcastle within 4 hours and not pay a penny for the extra inconvenience. Then their plane is ready to go from Manchester.

Sorry to here about that. That’s a crap way to operate. Don’t think I’d book them ever again.Beware TC bookers.

They aught to rob the Yanks with it but not us Brits! Interestingly enough with Thomas Cook it’s in the price of the holiday. Take note TUI. Also we went on a cat trip to Isla Mujeres & had to pay $12 port / exit tax extra!

For anyone who thinks there's not much to do.. Did you know: Chichen Itza …For anyone who thinks there's not much to do.. Did you know: Chichen Itza is one of the most visited archaeological sites in Mexico? an estimated 1.4 million tourists visit the ruins every year! Mexico 🇲🇽 is Amazing! So much to see & do, worth every penny! I've been there 3 times & can't wait to go back in a couple of years

Chichen Itza is amazing - the engineering that went into that place is staggering. They built a pyramid to represent the solar year, 4 sides 91 steps high, plus the temple at the top = 365 days. Also, at the equinox, at a certain time of day, the sun snakes down one corner. If they built that pyramid more than 1 foot from where it is, the snaking would not happen.

Also, the echos at the set of columns making the duck quacking noises when you clap.

How did they know how to do all that when they were still hunting with spears?

Just spent two weeks at this excellent hotel and had a wonderful time. A picturesque and very friendly island with stunning wildlife and scenery. We travelled with Thomson (or Tui or whatever they're called this week) and flight times meant that we had the full 14 days at the hotel. Hotel also gave us our room to use as soon as we arrived (9am). The deluxe sea view rooms are well worth getting.

You're talking, what, 10 hours travel time to get there? That's your first and last days accounted for. Hardly worth it for 5 days.

Then Scotland is miles away from England...

Except that there's no border between them!!!!!! Idiot!!

We stayed at the bachata and noticed every new bottle of Smirnoff was already open . I asked for neat vodka to try and it was watered down a ridiculous amount while the locals at the weekend were buying unopened bottles of spirits from the staff at the swim up bar and bunging them a few dollars. Most of the spirits were just water wouldn't go here for free , 9 hours on a plane to go here!! Yeah right.
We just been to Aruba .. More pricy but unbelievably better

Stayed at this hotel January 2016. Hated it, couldn't wait to get home and I was only there for 7 nights. Main cruise ship stop point hotel that lets all the passengers into the hotel and use the beach ( for a fee), rammed constantly. Crap rooms and facilities, food just about edible, drinks meh. There is a reason that this is so cheap! Avoid!

Yep. Hurricane season. Made that mistake many years ago. 14 days drinking watered down spirits while it lashed it down outside constantly

The £100 off has been going on for some time. I really do not see any difference in price.
Where is the 11% off?

Firstchoice is owned by TUI but all holidays are all-inclusive.

I usually call Thomas Cook and ask for them to split the rooms as separate bookings and apply discount to each one. They do this. Online, I am scared a holiday may sell out once one room is booked!

I tend not to care about people too stupid to post useless mouth - and then edit it - if they haven't posted a deal.

Find it a bit pathetic that people do post on deals they aren't interested. Even sadder, edit their comments - bwahahahahah!

I have tried Turkey twice, once to Marmaris 10 years ago and then Bodrum (or maybe Gumbet) 7 years ago and I got too stressed out. You know at night when you go out for your dinner, I just wanted to walk along and look, but they kept stopping me and asking me in and I got I couldn't take it anymore. I have just stuck to Spain since then. I have been told just to ignore the workers and keep walking but that is not in my nature. I know quite a few people that go to Turkey year after year and really love it, but I couldn't relax to be honest. Superb price though.

I am wondering the price soo god . I been with my family last year I am really enjoy.

We just got back from sharm going against the governments advice and it was safe. Never felt scared. Your own town center could be the next attack or some crazed up jinkie could be busting down your door. Prefer to look back and have traveled around rather than looking back and thinking of all the memories I had locking myself in the house :). Great deal.

A good price but having been to the area shortly after the local drug barons decided to petrol bomb garages and a bank below a hotel I'd try to check the safety situation before taking children there. Great beach and drink service by friendly staff. But get down early to snag chairs, otherwise you may miss out!

I've been here as well - the week after Mexicans were setting light to petrol stations and firebombing a bank. The government suppress any bad press as soon as they can so it's very difficult to find out about safety.

We had a reasonable holiday as the local people were grateful tourists were still visiting but the beach is not that great, the location makes it a little awkward to get around, the Americans are very loud and I wouldnt like to talk about the pool. Also quite a few people went down with stomach bugs, although the staff were always cleaning. Might go back to that part of the coast but a different hotel. Suits people who want to drink heavily.
