About this deal

This was FREE last year but this year added a £1.50 fee per order.
Can order more than one day in 2 or more orders but max 2 per order at £1.50 each time

Still a bargain! Been last few years and good fun.

£24 without code per ticket. Doubt anyone pays that but ..

    Last two times I’ve been they haven’t even asked to see tickets, not sure why anyone would want to pay anyway, it’s glorified fast food with abysmal music. Think I had to sit through Sophie Ellis Bexter and Heather Small doing their greatest hits from 20 years ago last time

    Everyone is just trying to have fun, be happy there is something happening somewhere to bring people together. It’s what keeps the communities together. There are lot of people who enjoy this kind of thing and makes them happy. Especially people who are sad or suffering. (edited)

    For people that have been before, what is the actual "foodies" part of the event like? Do you get to sample a lot of food or is it just a lot of upselling & sharing techniques? Thanks!

    I went to the Edinburgh foodies festival, and I was really underwhelmed. No, you don't get loads of samples from local producers, which is what I thought it would be. It's just loads of food trucks, and their prices aren't cheap.

    I had some slow smoked brisket and chips. It was nice.

    Myself and my children went last year and absolutely loved it. We saw Toploader and Sophie Ellis-Bexter and really enjoyed it. Each to their own, I guess.

    Tickets were only free with code. Same as this year. Otherwise was £20 at the door at some sites.

    What's foodie festival? Is it a lot of samples? Or is it just for people can't afford going to restaurants?

    Cooking demonstrations from a variety of chefs , some local restaurants, some tv chefs or from things like great British bake off , some free samples but I wouldn’t go just for those , as they are small samples . Standard takeaway food trucks to get lunch from , some stalls selling food products to take home , and then a band/singer towards the end of the day.
