Britain’s biggest free air and land festival by the sea this summer!

The Bournemouth Air Festival will feature an incredible four days of aerobatics including the RAF Red Arrows, Typhoon and Battle of Britain planes, with more announcements expected soon. The award-winning family friendly event includes dazzling dusk performances and entertainment on land.
After a historic Platinum Jubilee last year, marking 70 years of service by Queen Elizabeth II to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, we are really excited to bring you this year’s festival in the year of the King’s Coronation.

    Night Air Displays:

Bournemouth Air Festival wouldn’t be the award-winning event it is without its incredible Night Air dusk displays.

    RAF Typhoon dusk displays.
Not only was the mighty Typhoon back during the day but it also displayed at dusk.

The whole night air is pretty awesome each evening (fireworks Fri, Sat, planes & a helicopter that shoot a ton of pyrotechnics out of them like you could not imagine!) and the Typhoon dusk display (especially if you get a decent sunset) is just next level. Awesome!

For those interested, if park & ride available use that, as traffic is hell, and car park charges are shocking.

Might be the last for a while. Enjoy while you can.

I've lived in Bournemouth all my life. Air show got boring for me already as a kid I'm still baffled when I hear people travel so far to see it . However I suppose it's because it's more a pain trying to go for a walk on the weekend for me than anything

Whats up with so little announced,

I've been on a holiday for the air show years ago when it was with ships and the beach assault and a huge ammount of dusk displays.

Now I see hardly anything for the daytime and only two components for flying in dusk. No Air Fest TV either.

Looks like we will know the future of this event this week.

Does anyone know whether they do a full day on Sunday? I'm thinking of heading down just for the afternoon, but wouldn't bother if they wrap up mid afternoon, for example :/

Is there a night show today? Anything after 7:30pm?
