We'll be offering free entry to National Lottery players at a number of the places in our care for National Lottery Open Week 2024. As a charity, we want to say thank you to National Lottery players who have made so much of our conservation work possible. Many of the places we look after have benefitted due to the significant contribution of over £120m from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

To enjoy this special offer, you just need to show one National Lottery ticket, scratch card or Instant Win game per adult for free entry at participating properties between 9 and 17 March 2024. Under 18s can accompany a lottery ticket holder for free. So, whether you’re exploring a National Trust place for the first time or you’re a lifetime member, this is a great opportunity to enjoy a day out for yourself or to bring along your family and friends.

So to get free entry you need to have bought one of the lottery tickets/games/card, but per person. Does this also mean a ticket/game/card needs to be presented for a kids entry to NT?

Good offer but the parking charges can be pretty steep and I presume not included

    Free entry if you gamble

Yep and if this doesn't encourage you to gamble there are many other marketing ploys and sponsorship advertising that promote it

Ahh, OK, so if I gamble, I get in free, but have to pay for annual membership?

You don’t have to buy a ticket, just pick up one of the many that are thrown away on the streets. That way, not only are you getting in free, but also helping to clean the streets of litter. Also, where does it say that you have to pay for annual membership? 🤷‍♀️

Anyone know what the participating Properties are?? When I look at the national lottery open week website hardly any National Trust property places on there?? I wanted to visit Waddesdon. It is usually excluded from free family pass offers unfortunately but hoping lottery ticket would get me in?? (edited)

We had been members of the NT for years, but with so many free entry vouchers about, we haven't bothered this year.

To all those that are moaning about ‘gambling’, this is a little appreciation from the National Trust for contributing to their upkeep by purchasing a lottery ticket.

Exclusion not mention about North west, should I assume it’s all including in this promotion? Thanks

Was there some 50p lottery tickets you could get with the last one?
