Going by what I see when I log into my Dad's account, these offers only apply to customers with a smart metre installed

On the app, bottom right, click on the Octoplus icon

That will take you to the Octoplus page

And what would explain how it is still miles cheaper than other tariffs, despite the hike?

Same here, I was in town and walking past Greggs and thought why not. Only took seconds to get the code for free coffee and sausage roll. I had the americano and took the roll back home for my son (he always loves them).
First timer on this freebie, and no probs getting served or accepting the free codes.
I should have read the bit on the top where it said to present the two codes seperately, but she did this for me, good all round result

I had a look at eon next but it seems to have changed from 3% below price cap to £50 below.. which isn't as good. Currently trying to move to octopus but the smart meters installed at my new build were registered with the wrong post code and it's turned into a disaster. (edited)

You continuing buying your sausage rolls, meanwhile I'll get them free and pay 7.5ppkWh for 2/3 of my electricity consumption, or almost 1/4 of the cost of the tin foil hat wearer's, and in the sunnier days I'll be taking even more back by getting paid 15ppkWh for what I don't need to use in the peak hours. It's no wonder people are skint when they just can't engage some logic. Watch out for those chem trails in the sky while you are at it!!!

Also always the risk that they've sold out and then you have an accident on the way home and later discover you've been burgled. Octopus sausage rolls are just not worth it there should be a Government warning.

Just eat it very slowly and sit in the greggs all day, no need to have the heating on at home

I doubt it but I guess it is worth checking the Octopus app once or twice a week in case there are any more offers - there might be healthier prizes to claim
