Monitor your weight and health

The Garmin Index S2 Smart Scale measures your weight, body mass index, muscle mass, bone mass, and body fat and body water percentages. Whether you're in training or simply trying to maintain a healthy weight, the scales help you monitor your progress with ease.

Garmin Connect app

The scales connect to your home WiFi, so you can wirelessly sync your data to the Garmin Connect app. Compatible with iOS and Android, the app lets you see your data in more detail and track your progress towards your goals. It will even show you today's weather to help you plan your day.

Automatically detects up to 16 users

You can program the Index S2 to automatically recognise up to 16 people. Each person's body composition metrics are uploaded directly to their own Garmin Connect accounts, letting them check their own health data any time.

Easy-to-read colour display

With its high-resolution colour display, the Index S2 Smart Scale makes it easy to see your readings. The extra-large digits are displayed against a white background, so you can immediately see your stats at a glance.

Really like idea of these to link in with other Garmin products, but not at this price when other smart scales are over 50% less.

But these are quite convenient, and write data straight to Connect.

Just a warning - I was tempted by these to measure muscle mass but I've read reviews saying it can only estimate muscle mass based on how much weightlifting you say you do; the muscle mass reading changed significantly based on how you answer the questions.

How accurate are they really for anything other than weight

Nothing is going to be as accurate is proper lab testing, however I find (in the case of the fitbit scales, not these specifically) that they're consistent, so you get a good indication of whether or not you're changing, and in which way.

Have these and if you’re within the Garmin ecosystem it’s well worth having the data sent up to connect for trending.
