The price includes the subscription, you just need to remember to cancel if you don't want the insurance, file storage and discounts on accessories.

Anyone aware of any promo codes to reduce this further. The student discount ones seems to take it down my £12 which is better than nothing.

Still unsure on this or the action 3. But all the videos I’ve watch the GoPro comes out on top and o def prefer the colours on this

I was the same. I can't find any promo codes that when used actually increase the cost. I was split between the two bit now the gap between price has reduced I went for gopro as also prefer the colours and had 10 bit colour although this is coming to the osmo

Yeah, been toiling over them. Picture quality and third party accessories seem to be the clincher. I like the 3 batteries and case with the DJI but think I’m going to go for this.

Same here, most videos I’ve watched show a far better dynamic range for the go pro. But, I always have in the back of mind the freezing issues that GoPro notoriously have so want to give DJI a go. But will I always be looking at that dynamic range……. With the RRPs the DJI was a no brainier for me, but this pulls it closer.

Are these any good comparing with latest Samsung or iPhone with 8k video shooting? I never used these go Pro so don't really know the difference between these devices and latest phones. Thanks

Different use cases. iPhones only go up to 4k, but GoPro has alot more variety of resolutions and frame rates. The selling point is the ability to mount it, get it underwater and film angles which where you wouldn’t put your phone. Other point to make is the stabilisation on this is gimbal like at full resolution. Apples new action mode caps out a 2k odds and crops a lot of the screen. But I agree most people could film their family/vacation videos on their phone just fine.

No, the battery life is very poor, but the worst thing is the amount of drain while the camera is off. You basically have to charge the battery just before you use it, or you've lost a significant amount of charge for nothing.

I have the original blue battery and 2 enduro batteries and they all behave the same way

But the camera is superb (I have hero 10)

I've bought from them several times over the years. Always quick service and I've managed to get stuff sorted if there was a problem as an aftersale service (managed to get another battery out of them) not really sure why they get such a bad rap, but my experience has been ok
