Anyway to use these 2 separately? I know I'd have to buy extra kit. What kit specifically?

Just put these up today and can’t see a way to use them separately unfortunately.

Bought these last year for daughters bedroom - some of the LEDs have failed. Was expecting better from a 'brand' rather than the generic Chinese stuff usually on offer.

    Same here.

Any chance these would work as car underglow

Do you have to split WiFi bands to use this?

I don't specifically know about these LEDs but usually, during setup, both your phone and the LEDs need to be on the same 2.4 GHz channel and unless you split the channels, you won't know which device is on 2.4 GHz and which is on 5 GHz.

After set up, your phone doesn't even need to be on WiFi at all but the lights still need to remain on 2.4 GHz.

Are the 2 reels controlled separately?

Just chucked a set of these due to redecorating and moving them twice, still very sticky though, few colours had died

Not worth it. Mine have failed after less than a year.

Does anyone any recommendations for reliable, multi coloured LED strips which I would use for my kitchen under cabinets? Dont mind spending a bit more for quality...

    Use Philips hue

I have had these for just over a year but unfortunately numerous LEDs have failed.

In my experience I’ve found that the IP rated LED strips last far longer than the normal kind.
this is a decent price for 20m though.

I bought the Alexa enabled ones so I can walk in and say, "Alexa, game time", and everything turns on. Pretty handy.
