Update on these - They were installed within about 10 mins on to the monitor. Set up was another 5 mins or so, then they were ready to go. They're super nice vs the bars I had before and less bulky.

My only gripe is a little latency between what's on screen and what's being lit up. It's minor but there if you're looking for it. When playing a game last night, I didn't notice it at all. Watching vids is a little different. Apparently there are some solutions for those having that problem and it's not something everyone gets (A lot of folks report no noticeable latency)

I'll try to figure it out when I get chance, but it's not a big enough lag to make me want to get on it asap. Overall I really like them and look forward to updates, as Govee do them pretty regularly.

It's actually really nice to see Govee attack this market without the need for a camera. The set up looks like it would take a little longer, but not having a cam to attach and maybe annoy me, is a big plus for me.

I might have to buy one and see how it works. Got the light bars with camera and the TV one too. Both are great, although a strip for the top, sides and bottom is a much neater solution.

I actually attached my light bars to my guitar stand in the end (No camera obviously) Just because they kept falling off the monitor after a couple of years

Modded Jem Jr takes the front space (No room for my other guitars on there, haha)

EDIT: Bought some of the 27 - 34" ones to test them out. They arrive tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. I would say by the weekend, but I'm a big kid and will have them set up by the evening

What I would like to know is how detachable they are, since I'm going to upgrade my monitors at some point but want to be able to use them still. Anyone know?

I would say like many of these type of strips, that they won't stand up to well after being removed. You can buy replacement adhesive though, which may be the best option if indeed there are issues.
