Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition includes
- Grand Theft Auto III: It all starts in Liberty City. With the revolutionary freedom to go anywhere and jack anyone, Grand Theft Auto III puts the center of the criminal underworld at your fingertips, if you have enough guts to take it.
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City: Welcome to the 1980s. From the decade of big hair and pastel suits comes the story of one man's rise to the top of the criminal pile. Grand Theft Auto returns with Tommy Vercetti’s tale of betrayal and revenge in a neon-soaked tropical town full of excess and brimming with possibilities.
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: Five years ago, Carl ‘CJ’ Johnson escaped the haze of Los Santos, San Andreas...a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs, and corruption. Now, it's the early 90s. CJ’s got to go home - his mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart, and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighbourhood, a couple of cops frame him for homicide, forcing CJ on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets in the next iteration of the series that changed everything.

sorted byI loved Vice City on release and it was my favourite up until GTAV. I kind of wish I hadn't gone back because it's ruined my memories a little. I forgot how absolutely infuriating some of the missions were and how awful the shooting is now compared to modern games.
Currently playing the original GTAIII emulated on Steam Deck - controls take a bit of getting used to but still having fun with it
It's better than it was at launch but it shouldn't be having these issues well over a year after release.
Also, this doesn't give you any kind of upgrade to the PS5 version so you have no choice but to buy them digitally. (edited)
Love the original trilogy, few years ago I bought the original trilogy on PS4 for £11. I used to love Rockstar Games, would have given them my money with little hesitation.
However this trilogy being a glorified mobile game remake is what stops me parting with my money. Most bugs might be fixed, but the nearby to release such a broken game was a p*sstake.
If most of the community would stand together to and throw money at these projects, we'd have a better gaming industry.
Rant over
This is coming from someone who bought Streets of Rage 4 without hesitation and enjoyed the new TMNT game. Time, effort and a clear love for the originals is obvious in those games. This trilogy looks like a tactical money grab or a gap filler before a new GTA.
£17 for the new TMNT was a bit high for the short game, but a well made game.
Nice find Mixi!
As mentioned. Don’t let the hateful comments put you off. Very good fun games to play these. As I remembered playing them all back on release and look as they did back then (the originals haven’t aged well visually so this I a nice, if only slight upgrade, it makes a big difference)
I bought this... And then mere moments later, I decided to cancel my purchase.
In the spirit of HotUKD... Money saved. (edited)
only thing i am let down by is the gunshot sounds, you really notice it after coming from red dead redemption
If you can live with them things it's a fabulous deal a lot of content for the money but for pedantic me it's sadly not viable
Seems to be much approved now.
I think a lot of the burden they have is the shame they didn't really go all out, even now they are working it still feels very half hearted. Like they just released it to finally shut up the endless demand for a trilogy remaster.
Can anyone actually put forward a view that this game is worth getting for a nostalgia kick or is it just too far broken to be worth someone's time?
