Parkside at Lidl are great value tools and there's a fresh range of them on sale from Sunday 21 January lidl.co.uk/c/p…745

I think the 20v cordless drill WITH 2Ah Li-ion battery (with LED status), charger and tool kit is particularly good at £39.99. The in store flyer shows it at £35.99 (Lidl Plus price - free to join). 45Nm torque is excellent at this price and the drill has a 3 year warranty.

This is very little money for a 45Nm drill, battery, charger and odds n sods. I've already got a lot of Parkside 20V stuff - all amazing value. I really could do with a hammer drill but at this price, I think I'll get one of these anyway.

I just wish they'd sell some of the Parkside brushless stuff. I'd rather pay more. (edited)

You can get their brushless 60nm Performance drill on Amazon.fr for about 86 euro shipped - has nothing on Lidl NL prices right now though, they're selling the same one with battery + charger for 40 euro. Shame they don't ship internationally

Picked this up today. Wow! This is OK as a basic drill. Much better than expected and with Lidl Plus it is £35.99.
    It actually drills holes!

    Impressed.

Agreed, bought this as a spare incase anything happens to my Bosch PSB 1800 Li-2, and this seems to be just as good. I'm impressed. I wouldn't be surprised if Bosch were secretly behind these products

Seems that their chargers and batteries are now ‘smart’ and connect to your phone. Whatever next!

Dont believe the batteries are but I have seen a Bluetooth charger, not locally though. The tools are great to be fair but they ain't half taken a hike in price some of the batteries and such are now in DeWalt territory, 2ah battery is now 4ah price

Can't seem to find a charger for my Parkside combi drill.

I purchased a Parkside impact driver and soon sold it and replaced with a Dewalt. They are what they are for the price but have found over the years you get what you pay for with tools.

I’ve got lots of the tools in both the 12v and 20v range, genuinely useful having a tools with the same battery system. However will slowly upgrade to a range that is available all year round rather than specials . That’s the only downside.

The 12v range isn’t that great at all but the 20v stuff has been fine.

I’ve been a Parkside fan for years. But, when my 12V battery died and put two of my tools out of action I realised that, unlike normal brands, you can’t easily pick up a spare. I’m still waiting for Lidl to sell more.
