    We got these sorry but don't bother.. Your better of drying yourself with a soaking wet Jay cloth

    Same here, I bought these last year and I've tried washing them without fabric softener and added salt. Nothing makes these act like a towel should. They just don't absorb water at all. I ended up cutting them up for rags in the garage.

    100% polyester, so how do they absorb water to dry you ?

    As others have said, they don't really function as towels but my kids love Harry Potter and use them as decorations in their rooms or as blankets. They're good value at this price.
