Product details
Hawksmoor cordless garden trimmer powered by an 18V battery platform.
With a 25cm cutting width and speed of 8,500 rpm it is an extremely efficient grass trimmer. Features an ergonomic rubber over-mould handle for comfort, and an adjustable auxiliary handle for additional control. Lightweight at just 1.97kg prevents fatigue, allowing for longer working. Flower guard allows close working right to the lawn edge while protecting plants.

Can I use this to get weeds out a block paved drive ? Fed up of doing it with a wire brush

No, as it will only take the top off, and it might scatter the seeds in the process

If you are already in the Parkside 20v system then get their strimmer / brushcutter. Yes it is more expensive (£63) but it comes with 4mm wire, harness, and a blade that makes short work of whatever is in its way. It takes 2 batteries, making it a 40v unit.
I have one and recommend it over the basic string and plastic blade tools. (edited)
