Can you install apps on these Hisense TVs?

Some apps yes but will be very limited. Your best bet is to get a firestick or Roku stick with any budget TV like this tbh.

I compared this to my Samsung, and side by side, the Samsung colours popped a but more, the blacks were blacker, and crisp and pixels were better on the Samsung, but otherwise this is a great Tv, I can't complain got it for £269

Got my eye on the Samsung QN90B 43inch. Although this is a very good deal for a QLED and this particular model is highly reviewed.

This isn't even remotely close to that. The hisense has no local dimming, it's a cheapo tv and the hdr is useless because of it.

Got mine last week from Costco (£329.98 with 5 year warranty) and am really impressed with it. Had a Toshiba 4K TV which was purchased in January and which was nothing but trouble but this is magnitudes better. Picture quality is excellent on terrestrial DTV and Netflix/Amazon streaming is perfect for me. Sound is good but route it through a soundbar I had previously. I'm not a TV snob - it works fine for my purposes and is a good price for a decent quality TV.
