As well as the hive thermostat of course.
Yes occasionally they demand to be recalibrated which can be a pain as often fails.
My only niggle with them is why not have them set up to work with rechargeable batteries since that's what most sensible people are going to use.
It does work with them but just tells you they are going flat much sooner than they last as rechargeables have lower standard voltage. (edited)
