I live in Hoka hikers thanks to arthritis of the feet and hips, and they are absolutely fantastic for that.

Signing up to their mailing list should get you a fiver voucher, unsure if it can be used on reduced items.

I have the anacapa lo version. Suggest sizing a full size up esp if you have wide feet

Do you have Hoka running shoes and if so are they the same size as these walking boots? Cheers.

Pretty cool looking hiking shoes, I'd pick these if I am in the market over those overpriced Adidas hiking trainers.

The Adidas are £103 on the same site, gone for them instead

A very similar Hoka model cut in half, I doubt they'll be made that differently

Fear I would be taken the piste out for wearing these on a hike

These look like some odd hi top basketball type trainers, as opposed to walking or hiking shoes.

Also wondering what the "Material note: contains non-textile parts of animal origin" bit is all about. Apart from leather, Suade or nubuck. What are they referring to?
    bluesatin's avatar
Likely just referring to the leather parts:
'Non-textile parts of animal origin' means any parts made of materials such as down, feather, bone, leather, pearl or horn.

Great deal, love my Hokas but they look too narrow for me.

Not sure about Vibram....always found them to be quite slippy compared to Goodyear

I've seen lots of reviews of various sole manufacturers and there is always someone who doesn't like a specific type of sole and others who swear by them. I read an article once and the author suggested the reason for this is in the manufacturing process and they believe that they put a substance in the moulding machine so help the sole come out and not stick inside. This substance in some circumstances could stick to the sole and make them slippy. Eventually this would wear away, but the owner would have already formed their opinion that the sole was slippy. I have these Anacapa boots and the vibram megagrip sole is the best you can buy as far as I know.

Just received mine & are so comfortable but...the left boot makes a slight popping sound when i put them on and walked around the house...not sure if it'll go after wearing them for a bit...don't want to return them if I can help it!

Unsure if this is common in Hoka boots as this is my first pair.

I'm a UK 8.5 in Adidas & ordered the same size in these & the fit is perfect for me. (edited)

Mine definitely don't pop. Returns should be free and the sale ends today so I would buy another pair if I were you.
