    This isn't harmony, it's MagicOS 7.1 on Android 13, with all the Google goodies.

    It's very clear there's carry over from Huawei's EUMI, not too bad.

    Just an FYI for anyone who wants to order this, DO NOT choose the 42mm or 46mm MagicWatch 2 as your free gift! It isn't compatible with the Honor Health app due to the weird Huawei/Google issue. If you want a watch get the GS 3 or flog the tablet/earbuds and buy another brand.

    Only the Band 7 or GS 3 are compatible with the Honor Health app because the other watches are just rebranded Huawei watches.

    Honor currently having me jumping through hoops to uninstall the playstore app and sideload another Health app just to get this working.

    After hours of setting up the new phone they're now insisting they can't modify my order for a GS 3 and I have to send the whole package back

    It should be compatible, you need to install Huawei AppGallery first from some Huawei source (download the apk from Huawei website) then install Huawei Helath from there. You will need to install HMS Core as well. (edited)

    To anyone using TCB, Quidco or such, HONOR will decline cashback if any code is used. Tried with both for two separate purchases - both came declined.

    I agree. Worth the price and I'm saying this as a Samsung S23 Ultra user who decided to return the phone due to its lackluster camera performance on launch, poor quality build, and battery performance.


    Honor gave me all I wanted from the phone and camera.

    Tempted by this to replace my trusty P30 Pro - tried to get the Fonehouse deal with the charger, case and headphones on Monday but they wouldn't take my card. By Tuesday they had changed to the X8 tablet, so I thought better of it.

    Is it worth the money? What over alternatives could/should you consider? I am a happy user of Redmi Note 8 Pro, which is still going strong. I do not game on my phone (got a rig at home dedicated to gaming), I do not work on the phone, it's pretty much used for phone calls, texts and taking some pictures, watch youtube/movies while waiting in the car. I also use it for some apps so need to be able to get them from the Play Store. Ocassionally I use Google Maps/Waze. What would you recommend? (edited)

    Some of my observations here, tho not on the optical zoom. It might be subjective, but the honor seems to take better pictures with better screen. Both very good tho.

    If I was in the market for a 2023 flagship phone this would be it. However, I would wait a few months and I believe it will be sub £650. These are great phones but just don't get the love and respect they deserve.

    Yup dual SIM, I've tried both O2 and 3 on it at once and works fine. It also has eSIM.
