Best bit is the full size analog sticks and buttons, makes a big difference in some games compared to the joycons.

These don't work in TV mode, do they? I'm after some joycons or pads for a similar price that work in both Handheld and TV mode - does anyone have any suggestions?

If your only reason to be motivated is a D-pad. Ebay/Etsy. Buy customised genuine joy cons that have swapped out with a D-Pad on left con. There are some cool themed stuff and replacement shells out there too. I have nice Game Boy theme joy cons with D-pad.

You retain all the joy con functionality so win-win.

These split pads are great. Much more comfortable than the standard joy cons.

Only negative for me here is the colour. Much too red, needs another colour on it for contrast.

Would still be tempted at this price though if I didn't already have the grey/yellow set.

The only thing I hate about these is the plastic blocks that overhang the back of the switch screen, I get their designed to give more stability but if you have a case/cover on your screen it's difficult to fit these and I don't want to have to take my case off every time I use them but good price at least (edited)

I hate everything about these Hori/ Nitro things. Never got it. Could be a fiver and couldn't get interested. Each to their own but for me is a case of solving a problem that does not really exist.

These are great for the price. A lot more comfortable than the standard joycons but minus the extras like rumble, ability to use them off the screen, etc.

These are excellent replacements for regular joycons if you want something that fits the hands a bit better.

They don't work in wireless mode though, only when connected to the switch. But for £20 these are absolute bargain.

The price is really tempting to buy as a spare. I went for the nitro deck with the case which can also be used in wired mode.

And is the attachment standard? Do they work with these and the bulkier Hori Pro Pad please? (edited)
