You can only imagine how pleased I was when I found out we had actually received this -
Having a right old time with getting this sorted atm, Blacks (Millets, Go Outdoors etc they are all the same company) are saying I had 30 days to realise I'd recieved the wrong product, the only way I'd have known was to put it up in my limited space garden in late September, then they wanted a picture of the box it was delivered in (I binned it as it's far easier to store the tent in my shed unboxed). DHL didn't take a photo of it getting delivered so I'm screwed there. I asked them to check their stock system and eventually they asked for the tent to be returned. Two weeks later still no contact as to whats happening (edited)
Saying that, £200 for a tent this size is good value, even if you only get a year out of it.
Any idea if they do this in other stores? I can’t say I’ve seen preowned stuff at my local before (although I don’t think I’ve been in a year or so).
They tried to fob me off with a repair but i demanded an exchange, they tried to tell me its normal to repair a new tent not offer an exchange, had to email their customer service complaining and they contacted shop manager and told him to exchange.
Manager refused previously only offered repair or refund and i got it much cheaper in a sale recently so would have to buy it again for hundreds more.
Absolute joke sold me a repaired tent that was still faulty as brand new then wanted me to have another repair
Guess it will be on this pallet soon, got to check the replacement over today, hopefully its all good 🫤 (edited)
