Anyone here know what situations would be enough to cover Huawei's warranty …Anyone here know what situations would be enough to cover Huawei's warranty and make them replace or repair a Mate 20 Pro for free? I have warranty on the phone currently available up to 2023, totalling nearly 4 years.
A hardware failure of some sort.
ScreenEar pieceMicComplete failure
Battery drain isn't included.- P30 pro has to be the best phone of all time. It just hits every core pillar: battery, camera, software stability, performance. What the hell else has ever come close since
We need Huawei back! - The camera on the p30 pro is unbelievable, bought other half this phone when it first came out he loves it and these models aren't affected by Google issues.
- On my 3rd year owning a mate 20 pro. Been great, sadly cracked the screen so time to upgrade, but waiting on a great deal (edited)
- Huawei for the win! Heat!
(edited) - Have a 20 myself so thought id comment. 3rd year owning. Still not a single issue with it. Works like a charm. Next phone will br huawei as wellv i hope. Fantastic for the price. Camera could be better.
- I still can't give up my mate 20 pro , had one since release date upgraded and didn't even use the upgrade
- Huawei were getting TOO GOOD, the Yanks had to halt their tearaway success, otherwise it'd eat into their billion dollar profits.

A phone I'm currently using, will be replacing with the p6, but I have no idea why - The Oppo Find X2 at £249 is a steal!

Omg same here. Cracked the screen in first year and still going strong! Great phone!!- On my third year with my mate 20 Pro and I love it. Haven't regretting swapping to Huawei at all.
- Mate 20 pro is amazing, I am now in the 3rd year (and i am a phone snob). Still doing great!
- I have upgraded from a mate 20 pro to a pixel 6 pro. To be honest, the mate 20 was one of the best phones i have owned and the only reason i can justfiy the change is because the battery is now giving out with minimal use.
I would be unsure about a refurb on a phone this age, but you cant argue with the price.
I will be giving my mate 20 to the wife, but have suggested she get the battery replaced - timpson will do it for £50 which seems reasonable to me - I still have my 3 years old Huawei mate 20 pro and I couldn't find any reason to upgrade it. Best phone I ever had.
- Adding to the Mate 20 Pro appreciation society.
Had it 3 years now and cant see any reason to change. Battery still lasts 2 days medium use.
Camera still as good as anything out there that's not Huawei.
Just hoping that USA stop sulking and allow Goggle services back on the new models. Albie727/10/2021 12:01

P50 released. Now under the Honor brand
That's a bit misleading. The Honor P50 is not the successor to the Huawei P40. Huawei have released a P50 Pro... The Honor P50 is not in the same league as the Huawei P50. From a marketing POV obviously they would like people to buy it thinking it, but Honor was always the cheaper sister brand. Now it has google services but the best tech is still under Huawei just sadly it's only for the chinese market at present. I expect they are trying to pivot Honor into being a premium brand in the western world but the newly launched P50 is not Huawei tech as we know, be warned. (peronally I was on the wait list and I am skipping it after reviews)- The P30 is ridiculously good value, heat
- My mate 20 Pro has been phenomenal. Camera is amazing
- I've got a Huawei mate 20 Pro, fantastic phone that I have been using for 3 years now.
I highly recommend these phones - Still love my Huawei mate 20 pro and nothing ticks the boxes to warrant changing or upgrading. Battery is starting to degrade but other than that everything works the same as day 1.
- I was chuckling to myself when the iPhone 13 Pro Max arrived in 2021 with cinematic video, the very same video style that was found on the Mate 20 Pro in 2018.
Heat added for the legend that laid down the marker for current high end devices. (edited) - Just got my p30 Pro today its Immaculate. Looks like new!
- good find buddy. Heat added

I am looking for an ideal upgrade from P30...
