But isn't the point of the deal for a tiny bit of hassle you can save £100+?

Not quite £300 is the current rate for ones I've seen on gumtree and ebay - its a simple test I use to see if a deal really is good or just OK...

woo hoo! finally caught this in stock!!!!

Ordered on PAYG (£211) for delivery tomorrow - can't be bothered to do the O2 Refresh rigmarole. Great deal!

Thank you eek you are a legend!

I have seen these and like the look and feel and was tempted by a new one at £380! Luckily I didn't.

Suffice to say I have ordered one and heat added.

PS I went for Payg as I am lazy.

Thanks very much.

Is there a way to avoid the top-up?

This is the deal that totally kills the Honor 8 dead in the water. Same phone (in fact slightly better) for £140+ less (I'm talking the £212 'faff-free' PAYG option)

Honor 8 pricing was bizarre to say the least.

I just ordered, thanks op, yeah pay as you go. then they are out of stock
glad i was quick this time

cheers.
been checking this every day for it to come back in stock. just missed out last time so not letting that happen again!

problem is unlocking it, if anyone has any clues please share

Thanks op. Was waiting on this for a very long time now

other post seems to say they are unlocked if bought pay as you go... doesn't come with the fast charge though which is a bit of a disappointment

Actually hang on, can anyone confirm - is this a 3gb RAM or 4gb RAM phone?

Looks like the 3gb RAM version? That's a bit of an oversight if Huawei gave us a 'flagship' device in 2016 with 3gb RAM?

Ah, dealbreaker then. Not enough of an upgrade on my Honor 7 to warrant buying, even at this fantastic price...

Don't use the sim card? It didn't try to charge me £10 when i selected the (classic style ??) PAYG sim tariff. I guess i would have to top up if i wanted to use the simcard

I don't seem to be getting an option to *not* top up (on the mobile site at least.

Anybody know the warranty on these 'Like new' deals

Some people may have it in basket and then timing out. I kept refreshing on basket screen and i t popped from OOS to "continue". Bam, purchased.

PAYG. As said, can't be bothered with £19 saving for the hassle that sometimes comes, and the credit check.
