Personally I'd stick to a reputable brand like Hyundai. Plus sold by Amazon is going to be a lot easier if there should be any problems down the line.

Surly its more cost effective just to hire one unless you're in the building trade.

depends, could be cheaper to buy, use and sell on. Where I live the cheapest is £93 to rent with 110v, + transformer and extension lead for one week.

63L is what I could handle by hand and quicker andalso it is a good aerobic/anaerobic exercise.

Not sure how much the brand Hyundai counts as the identical model is Screwfix 'Scheppach MIX65 Cement Mixer 230V' for £225 at present. Even the colour is the same ...
I hate it when a known quality brand sells out.....

Ps I agree that 65 litres is small, a 'normal' size is 130-150 litres. (edited)

1 - read some bad things about Hyundai tools (admittedly only on here ) , anyone have any real experience ?
2- drum seems a bit low I thought 90l was standard

A lot of people assume that Hyundai tools and Hyundai cars are one and the same. The cars are excellent reliable bits of kit, the tools are not. They only have one thing in common…..the name.

I wish someone had warned me to steer clear before I bought a Hyundai “ all singing all dancing “ petrol lawnmower. It wailed and hobbled all the way back to the seller for a refund and they in turn informed me that they were stopping selling them due to their atrocious quality.

But like most tools these days at the bottom end of the market they trade on a name and are made in a far off land. Scheppach for example were a once proud and excellent ‘Made in Germany’ firm whose tools were superb. Now they are rebadged Chinese rubbish and made in the same factory as that well known tool firm ALDI.
