    This is mixer tap commonly used now days which keeps it at high price tag. Seperate taps like op shared, are in use but mostly as replacement. (edited)

    These should be banned. Why does the UK continue to use separate hot and cold taps? Get a combi boiler and mixer.

    i prefer separate taps so i can mix myself! it gives more control if you can do your own mixing.

    so i picked up my taps this afternoon and there is a faint mark on the tap to indicate hot with the letter H imprinted on the top, but then so does the other side!! it also has the fitting instruction for the wrong tap so looks like a return.

    don't know if i should return it or whether i can live with the letter H on both taps.

    What ever made them do that haha. If that’s the case I’ll probably keep them anyway as I’m selling the house and don’t really care haha
