    AOC quality control is hit and miss, if you get a good one they are usually fine.
    jaju mentioned the higher stated brightness on the AOC, Iiyama have a habit of understating the brightness and they usually test higher than the specs say.

    The Iiyama also has better response times. 1ms GTG vs 4ms GTG on the AOC.
    Ignore the MPRT response times, it's pretty much a marketing scam. It requires backlight strobing so looks pretty bad and gives many people headaches.

    The only thing the Iiyama is really lacking is a height adjustable stand, which is more important to some than others (makes no difference if mounting on an arm (which I would do).

    beware, some of these (not all) suffer from coil whine. Drove me nuts had to return it.
