Hey Guys;

Just browsing and this is the best price I’ve seen in a while. An official Star Wars branded R2D2 7 In 1 Instant Pot Duo smart cooker.

Previously, this is hard to find below £90 with this coming with free prime delivery and is a low price (respectively) compared to many other providers.

Yes I know the non Star Wars branded version is cheaper but still, this IS the droid you’re looking for!

Pathetic - making an electrical appliance look like a toy poses a safety risk to children

Could we get a darth vader one? Or do i have to contact Ninja ? Think Ninja would be better with a vader version.

I think they have made a Darth Vadar and a Death Star version of this before but those two aren’t made anymore.
  18. Cameron92's avatar
It's not an airfryer? The way everyone goes on about them, this is clearly not worth purchasing.
  19. DuggyDarko's avatar
Does it make all the beeps and boops R2 noises? Missed opportunity if not.

    RoosterNo1's avatar
We just got the pro crisp... Its been a revelation, but it is twice the price of this one.
Very disappointed that NONE of them connect to the app. (edited)

Would this really save time & electric compared to hob/oven?
    ThermalRider's avatar
This model is basically a pressure cooker or saucepan, so may save hob energy, but it's not an oven replacement. You need a duo crisp model for that. They come with an air-fryer lid for roasting and doing the other things you would use an oven for.

I was a fan of the Instant pot, Then came along the Ninga 15 in 1. It has stolen a massive lead on Instant pot. The Ninga, airfrys, steam roasts and does allsorts the Instant Pot doesn't. It's dearer and doesn't look like R2D2 but it's future-proof and saves on counter space, doing away with several appliances including the Instant Pot.

    The.Fat.Cat's avatar
Well, those who aren't Star Wars mad can go for the cheaper non-tacky version.
  35. Spiritjambo's avatar
Ohhh dear... poor R2..the most iconic droid it the Star Wars universe, and you hardly got a look in on the modern films. Don't worry R2-D2...you're still my favourite!

Now cook my food...or else!!! (edited)
  36. Benefitgirl2000's avatar
I don’t suppose this Star Wars one is an air fryer too like another model?
    DealsIUsed's avatar
    Author
Sadly no air fryer, just different settings for commonly made food (can safely say I’ve never seen anyone make their own yoghurt though).
