This is £40 on the company website so I wouldn't say this is a great deal unless you have amazon vouchers to use. The expert version is £50 on the site compared to £59.99 on amazon as well.

Would this work well for Lego? (as well as ps5 and pc which are all gathering dust )
    littletinyphil's avatar
I use the expert version to clean lego, does the job for me

as nice as these are, they are as nice to use, you have to constantly hold the button for it to work, wish I knew, as I have the "expert black one" This is the only bad thing I've come across though, use it for all sorts, just wish that pressure switch was an on/off switch.

Your supposed to use it in short bursts, probably designed this way to prevent the motor from over heating as it does get hot

    Power & Control
Using an upgraded 550 Watt power unit, the Xpert delivers an intense jet of clean and filtered air through its highly directional internal channels and nozzle attachments. This combination of air flow accuracy and pure power enables deeper and more thorough cleaning.

‘With great power, comes great responsibility’… this famous advice played a key role in the development of the CompuCleaner Xpert. With two air speed settings, the intensity of the Xpert can easily be controlled with a simple flick of a switch.

Stage 1 Speed: Perfect for delicate cleaning tasks in enclosed spaces
Stage 2 Speed: Designed for the all out power, stubborn dust or hard to reach areas

These are great for cleaning PCs, but make sure the fans cant spin when you clean them to avoid any static build up.
    reubenno's avatar
It's not to do with static build up, it's to do with current being generated by the fans being spun too quickly, and that ends up killing the motor/the fan header on the motherboard. (edited)

Got one of these, it's excellent.

Can’t bring myself to buy this just because I need to use it once every few years
  8. wakkaday's avatar
Is this good for general cleaning of debris dust etc Nintendo switch ?
    Wooj's avatar
It'll dislodge dust, but it won't retain it, so it's best to move items outside to blast them, or run a vacuum at the same time to catch the dust
  9. Bad.Actor's avatar
I use one of these to clean the inner brew unit of my bean to cup machine.
Take it out, run it under a tap then blast it dry.
Our dog hates it, too many high pitched sounds going on as I'm doing it. (edited)

So I have a laptop which no longer starts. When I try it just blasts its fans really loud then dies.
Do I take a gamble that this machine might fix the problem?
    neversay's avatar
    I doubt it.

awesome bit of kit well worth the money
  14. gary333's avatar
Is this compressing the air or just a miniature leaf blower?
  15. muniphobia's avatar
Bought one of these when it was last on here and can thoroughly reccomend, much better than using compressed air as you can direct the air without it spraying liquid like a can of compressed air and it's more powerful. I'm trying to get them to buy one at work as everything in the warehouse gets full of cardboard dust, I had to open one when the hard drive failed and everything inside had a deep coating of dust

  22. Christee4's avatar
If you care about your PC, this is a must have, cans of airduster are a waste of time
    Panthera's avatar
    Why?
  23. Smugnamehere's avatar
What about static build up? That not an issue with these?
    Hutchyy's avatar
    Nope
  24. watcher456's avatar
How do these compare the battery powered equivalents? Is the convenience of not faffing with a plug worth probably the lesser suction?
    Auric_Goldfinger's avatar
My cleaning set up consists of...

    A blower £25 (prime):
    amzn.eu/d/5…gPI

    A detailing brush £7:
    amzn.eu/d/f…GPG

    Microfiber cloths ~£5

    Isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) ~£6

For less than £45 you can tackle a lot of jobs very well i.e. car dashboards, desktop items, TV screen/Monitors or your PC etc etc. Just remember to dilute rubbing alcohol (or not) depending on the job. (edited)

Great little gadget for cleaning all sorts, I use mine for car seats, consoles/pcs, door ridges, radiators etc

Invaluable peice of kit, absolute godsend, PC’s,
    Laptop fans, hoover filter’s. (edited)
  27. mumihp's avatar
I have this, brought mine years ago for the same price. If you have Prime, Amazon has it for the same price as well: amazon.co.uk/Dus…8-5

This is a must have to clean your PC. I normally take mine out outside and blow all the dust out. Make sure you hold the fans as its spins and you don't want any build up. Also, this is a cheap alternative than using a hoover which is a big NO.
£39.99 is a great investment to keep your PC clean and running without killing the components especially if you spend hundreds or over thousands.
    Panthera's avatar
Why is a hoover a big no?
  28. starletep91's avatar
Would this be good for car detailing?
    AppStar's avatar
Not sure. Try and let us know.

This is a fantastic bit of kit, I've had mine for years and it works great (for cleaning PCs and Radiators too).
  30. Booya8's avatar
    Good product.
  31. Ulti's avatar
Imo this is still pricey for what it is but I've ordered it as dust in both my gaming mouse and work mouse is causing the scrolls wheels to behave funny. I guess it's cheaper than buying another 2 mice... Thanks for sharing!
    Ulti's avatar
Just received mine today and tried it on my double clicking middle button Razer mouse and it's helped a bit but not completely gotten rid of the issue. That at least tells me it was probably a dust issue.

I've had the mouse for 2 years now and it must have been at least over 6 months since I started having this double click issue on this mouse so no doubt it's just too dirty. Looks like I'll either have to blow for a longer time or disassemble the mouse.
