Boxed set of four #1 bestselling Watson Files mystery novels, starring the legendary sleuth of Victorian London, Sherlock Holmes!

Sherlock Holmes and the Missing Shakespeare (#1)

Sherlock Holmes, legendary sleuth of Victorian London, is asked to authenticate the work of what appears to be a long lost Shakespearean play.

Alas, just as the famed detective is about to announce his conclusion, the manuscript is stolen.

As Sherlock and his trusted sidekick, Dr. John Watson, begin to unravel the mystery of the missing play, their investigation leads them on a convoluted but logical path.

But the closer they come to the missing play, the more their lives are endangered.

The game is afoot! But who is chasing whom?

Sherlock Holmes and the Lost Da Vinci (#2)

When Sherlock Holmes joins his sidekick and friend, Doctor Watson, at the wake for Brigadier Buffington, they wonder how Buffington acquired a lost Leonardo da Vinci painting.

And, after a curious incident or two, another question arises:

Did Buffington die of natural causes?

Or was he murdered?

A wager between the good doctor and the legendary sleuth turns into an outright competition, with each investigator withholding clues from the other.

The game is afoot as they compete to win the wager... and uncover possible murder, deceit and scandal.

It’s up to Holmes and Watson to sift through the mounting evidence in order to derive the motive, means and opportunity for each crime.

Indeed, the great detective must use all his deductive reasoning―and even outright trickery―in order to learn whodunnit and why.

But when material evidence disappears, will it be Watson or Holmes who finally deduces the truth from a tangled web of lies?

And will the lost da Vinci painting be recovered before it disappears forever?

Sherlock Holmes and the Werewolf of West End (#3)

Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson return in their strangest case yet!

Something’s stalking the streets of London’s West End.

People are dying, and all signs point to a killer of unfathomable strength and brutality.

On the night of the full moon, Doctor John Watson is called upon to save a colleague who’s been brutally attacked by what appears to have been a pack of wild dogs.

As his friend succumbs to his wounds, his dying words seem to implicate a “wolf man”. Confused, Dr. Watson turns to his good friend for help.

However, the killer’s wiles and weaponry are far more dangerous than anything the good doctor or the legendary sleuth have encountered before. Indeed, it is a clever enemy who can hide from the likes of these two persistent sleuths.

The game, as they say, is afoot. Except this is no game.

It’s life and death.

Sherlock Holmes and the Vampire’s Kiss (#4)

Someone or something is killing people in London, leaving behind bodies drained of blood and bite marks upon their necks.

Faced with the possibility that London is under a vampire attack, Sherlock Holmes is asked by Scotland Yard to help uncover the true killer.

It doesn’t take long for Sherlock to sniff out a trail that leads to a bar along St. Katherine Docks.

Shortly after that, the bar’s owner goes missing.

The game is very much afoot.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson join the hunt for the man...

And in the process come across an improbable ring of immortal spies, of which the duo are soon recruited into.

It is a cat and mouse game, with Sherlock and Watson as the bait.

But with London’s most famous detective on the case, it’s not a matter of if the killer will be caught... but when.

I've read 2 & 3, and he's captured Arthur Conan-Doyle's style very well. Stories are easy reading, although more supernatural ao not really believable
