Does anyone know how this plays with a thicker protective case? Thinking... Project Killswitch.

Pretty sure on Reddit they said it won't fit.

Sorry for this silly question but does it work with the Nintendo Switch Lite?

I don't think anything works with the switch lite, doesn't have an output

257 companies at companies house at that address, most of them dissolved. That one isn't on there. It's one of those Umbrella company addresses.

They probably registered for a number but returned nothing.

This dock will just be a cheap knockoff of a million other docks - that's why there are so many that are near-identical on places like AliExpress.

I have this dock. Had no issues with it so far.

other than the 6-in-one, is this the best unofficial dock availible?

I'd be interested in this also? Not looking to spend as much as the official Valve dock but I do want the second best choice for this sort of money.

Got a steam deck today , is this worth it for nearly £30 guys ?
    warlockuk's avatar
If you want to dock it and use it on your deck to connect to a monitor...yes. If not, no.

Owned a few of these types of docks. Then I got the official one and it's just perfect. Regret getting the others now but my brother loves them so win win.

I've got the model up from this dock, can't say I've had any faults. Always been curious though, how much better is the Valve dock?

guessing this won't also work with a switch? I have a cheap switch adapter which works fine with computers and the switch but only supports 1080p and with the short cable is pretty ugly mess on the desk. Would be nice to get something like this that worked with both. I wonder if just adding a usb c extension cable to my adapter would cause any problems

pretty sure the usb c port on a Nintendo Switch is wired differently than a standard usb c

Would this work with a mobile phone or laptop?
    dan_uk's avatar
It’s nothing special in terms of its tech, it’s just a nicely constructed metal dock with pass through power so there’s no reason it wouldn’t work. Would be very awkward to use with a laptop though as the USB C connector is very short.

Even better deal today at £19.99 with voucher!

which voucher? I can only see a deal to give a little bit more off if you also buy a basic stand.

    £29-99 for me sadly

Very late here, I am thinking if it makes sense to get one? I have an adapter for my mac with usb, HDMI and usb-c but without RJ45 so wondering if it’s worth spending the money on it or should I just lay my current adapter on the table and connect it this way. It will be moved from my computer desk to the tv so the advantage of just stick it in the docking station isn’t there if I would not buy two
