Be careful there are many cables that sell steal coated copper wire crap.

I buy startech cables as I have striped one down to make sure it was full
    Copper core

    To test this do this.
    1. Use a magnet and cut some strands off
If they stick to the magnet there not copper as copper will not stick to a magnet.
2 use heat a lighter or match . They will not melt if there copper if coated they will

    Hope this helps (edited)

What difference or durability does that make

Anyone recommend a decent brand/supplier of an external rated ethernet cable.
Needs to be about 30m and will run from my house to my shed. Not bothered about it being armoured as where I'm routing it it won't be at risk, but will be exposed to UV/rain.
