It's cheaper just to never wash your car.

Also it doesn't scratch the poop out of it. The more you clean, the more you need to clean. Cleaning is a hobby for most people though

Is it just me or are Karcher pressure washers so unreliable. Had 3 now and I'm in need of another

That’s why Nilfisk is the way forward. Metal pumps used instead of crappy plastic ones. I know there’s guidance on releasing pressure and water in the system but some people have still had issues with their motors/pumps breaking.

I’ll get a better Nilfisk with the kind of money that Karcher ask for these days. Covid and brexit has given all kinds of excuses now for companies to jack up prices and rob people blind. (edited)

You'd need the patio attachment which isn't in this, but otherwise yes - done my patio with a K2 before.

My Titan pressure washer went rusty. Not a good quality in something that's wet a lot

I've had a K2 for years, never had any trouble with it (other that the dirt buster lance packing up but I think that can be fixed when I get round to it). bought a K4 about 5 years ago because I thought I'd get one with a bit more power, it's been nothing but trouble, need run water through it for at least 10 minutes every time I use it before it will start, if it starts at all. Gone back to the K2

My K2 died this year, it was about 3 years old I think. They defo have a short life but they are high pressure devices and it seems most rivals don’t last long either

An advantage with Karcher is that you can buy spares.I broke the clip that holds the pipe into the lance.£2 and 5 days later I fixed it 😃

Some advice for your karcher power washer as mine has broken and costs the same to repair as a new one.
    1. Don’t use with an extension lead as the voltage dips and makes the pump work harder than it should.
    2. Make sure the inlet water hose is not a shut off valve (i.e water runs through it when disconnected) as the surge in pressure cracks the head - which is what’s happened to mine.
    3. Use in intervals for 3 - 5 mins only as the constant work tires the motor which eventually brakes.
I’m now looking for a new one - recommendations other then karcher please despite still having the attachments.

I've heard karcher are rubbish, everyone I know raves on about the titan at screwfix. £79 and comes with patio attachments too.
