I know this has been posted in the past month, but this mixer in black is £20 cheaper.

The other colours are available which still make it great value but if black is your thing then it’s even better!

Beware the underneath where the tools fit in becomes flakey and paint/ metal falls into the food. Just sent mine back to get repaired!!

    This Vs KitchenAid?

I’ve always wanted a kitchenaid but when this (kMix) came up on offer some months ago I bit the bullet because my Ambiano mixer from ALDI gave up the ghost after 3 years. I really considered getting the KitchenAid but after looking at reviews etc I ended up on this. From what I can tell the quality of these mixers is of a higher standard than the newer KitchenAid models, apparently the new ones use a lot of plastic which wears out quicker than KitchenAids of previous decades. So quality wasn’t going to be an issue, but I did wonder if I’d still be lusting over the KitchenAid. Pleased to report that I now have zero desire for one after getting the kMix, it really does feel like a high quality piece of kit. I’ve been enjoying using mine, and you can get the same accessories for the kMix as you can for the KitchenAid.

I just bought the limited edition one with the metal bowl for £210 ish- used UNiDAYS to access the website then used a 5% off blue light discount. Will be testing it tonight!

Still not sure about the glass bowl

I have had mine for about 6 years now, and only last year the thread on the plastic attachment that holds the bowl in place broke. The bowl itself being made of glass is not an issue, if anything it's far easier to clean and I put it in the dishwasher every time.

Had ours ten years and it's been great. Zero problems even with dough. A heavyweight!
